2020 AIBA to go ahead with a new judging schedule and entries now open. Entries close 7 August and judging will occur from 9 to 11 September at Melbourne Showgrounds.

The 2019 Royal Melbourne Wine Awards has been recognised as 2019 Victorian Corporate Event of the Year at the 2020 Meeting and Events Australia (MEA) National Award Ceremony.

The Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria (RASV) is developing a master plan for Melbourne Showgrounds to shape Our Showgrounds, Our Future.  The Andrews Labor Government provided $1.5 million to the RASV in 2019 to develop a master plan to ensure the precinct can best serve the needs of Victorians now and for generations to come.
