The sixth annual Agriculture: The Heart of Victoria dinner RASV partnership event with the Victorian Farmers Federation (VFF) was held on 28 June at the RACV City Club. The event was a celebration of the outstanding food, wine and beer produced by Victorian farmers and makers. The evening boasted an incredible degustation menu that was created using an array of locally sourced ingredients from some of RASV’s 2017 Australian Food Award winners.

Having so far received strong entries across new and returning classes, the Royal Melbourne Show Beef Cattle Competition is excited to recognise the Red Poll as the feature breed this year. The Competition is expecting more than 60 Red Poll cattle at the Show.

Breweries from all corners of the country and around the world are celebrating after the results of the 2018 Australian International Beer Awards (AIBA) were announced last night in Melbourne. The largest annual beer competition in the world judging both draught and packaged beer, the AIBA celebrated 26 years of recognising the world’s best beers this year, attracting record participation with 2178 entries across the beer categories, including 120 entries received in the design and media categories
