As we approach the end of 2020, there is great optimism and enthusiasm about the year ahead. We are particularly buoyed by RASNSW recently announcing that the 2021 Sydney Royal Easter Show will proceed from April 1-12. We look forward to Sydney Royal being a huge success and that all agricultural Shows around Australia return bigger and better in 2021.

RASV acknowledges the 2020 RASV Committee and Industry Advisory Group members Members
The Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria (RASV) is a not-for-profit organisation, supported and guided by several advisory groups and committees, whose members are approved by the RASV Board. The members of these groups are experts in their industry and help to shape and develop a vibrant calendar of activities, events and competitions, including food and drink award programs, on-farm events, agricultural competitions and Victoria’s largest and most iconic annual community event, the Royal Melbourne Show.

Victoria’s Dandah Distillery declared as one of Australia’s best Spirits
Dandah Distillery, trading as Yack Creek Distillery, from Yackandandah, Victoria were awarded a slew of trophies and medals, including the coveted Champion Victorian Distiller at the 2020 Australian Distilled Spirits Awards (ADSA), conducted by The Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria (RASV).

There is renewed optimism in November with the relaxing of COVID restrictions. It is fabulous that we can once again catch up with family and friends, enjoy dining out and visit regional Victoria. This optimism is reflected in the events sector and I am pleased to advise that the interest and enquiries to hold events and exhibitions at Melbourne Showgrounds is beginning to grow again.
