Melbourne Royal is thrilled to announce entries are now open for the next Australian Food Awards program on the calendar; the Melbourne Royal Dairy Awards.

Perfectly presented cakes, painstakingly handcrafted garments and mouth-watering preserves will be just some of the 4,000 entries set to impress at the 2023 Melbourne Royal Art, Craft and Cookery Competition.

Celebrating 30 years in 2023, with record entries and over 900 guests in attendance, the 2023 Australian International Beer Awards toasted the best beers in the world, awarding breweries large and small – including Bailey Brewing Co from Henley Brooke, Western Australia, which took out a number of Gold, Silver and Bronze medals for their range of craft beers. Melbourne Royal spoke with the team.

The Livestock Pavilion will be home to the Melbourne Royal Beef Cattle Competition from Thursday, September 28 to Sunday, October 1, with the pinnacle event, the Beef Interbreed, held on Saturday, September 30.

The best of the best poultry breeders from across the country will flock to Flemington in September for the Melbourne Royal Poultry Competition.
