Carol had a long-time involvement with Melbourne Royal and was a wonderful employee of Melbourne Royal for more than 43 years. Carol held various roles and was a great asset across several competitions including dog and cattle.

The Melbourne Royal management and staff were saddened to learn of the passing of Peter Heagney. Peter was a long-time figure at Melbourne Royal, where he devoted countless hours to the Horses in Action (HIA) competition, volunteering generously to ensure the success of events and the well-being of the equestrian community. Peter’s knowledge was invaluable—always willing to share his expertise with the Melbourne Royal Show HIA newcomers and seasoned exhibitors alike.
